SAAD Pune

About us

21 years of saying yes — to every family who called.

SaaD (साद) means ‘a call’. We exist to answer the call of persons with Autism and other disabilities, and the families who walk beside them.

SaaD Trust was founded in Pune in 2003 by a small group of parents, educators, and therapists who believed that disability should never be a verdict. What began as a handful of home-based sessions has grown into a registered public charitable trust serving over 1,200 individuals and their families across Maharashtra.

Our journey has always been guided by a single conviction: every person — regardless of ability — deserves a life of dignity, purpose, and independence. From early intervention for young children to supported independent living for adults, our programmes meet learners exactly where they are.

We are 80G certified, CSR-1 registered, and proudly accountable to every family, donor, and partner who has trusted us along the way.

Our vision

A society where every differently abled person lives independently, with dignity and joy.

Our mission

To deliver therapy, education, livelihood, and independent-living pathways — and to build the ecosystem of parents, caregivers, and communities around them.

Why SaaD

Built on three quiet promises.

Family-first

We work with parents and siblings, not just learners. Real change happens when the whole household grows.

Lifelong pathway

From early intervention to independent adulthood — we walk the entire journey, not just one stop.
